When we finally make the drive down, we want every minute out there to count.

So we started making the gear we wished we had, pieces that felt right for the coast, but still made sense for everything that came after.

Salt Sqd actually started with caps. From there, we kept building what we wanted for our own family. The SqdDrift hooded shirt came next and quickly became one of those pieces we never wanted to leave behind. Soft enough you forget you’re wearing it, built to keep you covered when the sun’s beating down all day, and still right for supper, the ballfield, or the drive home.

Since then, we’ve added tees and more gear with the same idea in mind: built for long days on the water, comfortable enough for every day in between, and made for the whole family.

Salt Sqd is still very much a family thing. Every order is packed by us. Our kids help test everything, end up in more of our photos than they’d probably like, and even take their turn cooking on Recipe Thursday.

Because for us, the coast has never just been about fishing. It’s the early mornings, the long days outside, the food afterward, the time together, and counting down until we get to do it all again.

And you don’t have to live on the coast to belong here.
